Ninth Central Region Vision Statement

The Vision of the Region is:

• As a component of the United States Coast Guard, we are supporting the Coast Guard.

• We volunteer our services and resources in the direction of Boating Safety, Search and Rescue, Homeland Security, Maritime Domain Awareness, and protecting life on and near the waters on the Great Lakes Shores.

• We are responding to the need of our members.

• The public knows that we are not a "silent service", but, the leading volunteer life saving organization.
